Water Resources Engineers Forum or WRE Forum is founded in 2011. This website is maintained by a group of people working in the field of water resources engineering and sciences.

The goals of this forum include, but not limited to:

• Introducing students in the water resources sector to the importance and challenges of Water Resources Engineering (WRE) in Bangladesh and global perspectives;

• Sharing information among the students and professionals and hereby building networks

• Exploring the scopes of WRE graduates in higher studies and job market opportunities

• Encouraging and guiding members in research and development of water resources

• Working as a platform of building awareness on water related issues in Bangladesh and at global scale

• Maintaining a blog that eventually will be a collection of articles related to regarding water resources engineering, water related national and global issues and much more

• Managing an online, open access, peer reviewed journal of water resources engineering

WRE Forum aims to travel a long way with their committed activities and believes to see this journey as a pilgrimage for information, technology, research and higher studies on the conservation of water resources. This forum is neither representing the alumni association (if any) of the Department of Water Resources Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology nor is this site endorsed by the department, faculty, or administration.
